Spheres of Influence

Spheres of Influence, or circle of control, is a way to think about the things that you can control vs the things that are out of your control [1].

They are often represented as three concentric circles:

  1. Control - things you have direct control over
  2. Influence - things you can influence but don't have direct control over
  3. Concern - things you care about but have no control or influence over

This can be useful when deciding how best to focus your efforts.
